Introduction

"Adventures in Tooth Extraction" features satirical prints, illustrations, and objects from Rare Books and Special Collections at Falk Library, selected for National Dentist Day (March 6, 2023). The exhibit aims at taming our fears of going to the dentist by showing humorous portrayals of dentists and their patients from the past. Laugh off your fears and wish your dentist a "Happy Dentist Day!"
