Surgeon and organizer. A founder of the American College of Surgeons. Professor of Surgery, Northwestern University Medical School. Attending surgeon, Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan. Member: American Surgical Association, Lake County and Illinois State Medical Societies, American Medical Association, Chicago Surgical Society. President, American College of Surgeons (1937-1938). Rendered outstanding medical military service during World War I as Organizer and Director, Army Base Hospital Unit No. 12 (Northwestern University)
