Obverse: Nude head to left; on truncation, BRANDT F.; below, in a curve, MEDICI HANNOVERANI D.D. ; around clockwise from bottom, ∙ JO. STIEGLITZ EQ. ARCHIAT. HANNOV . NAT. AROLSEN D. 10 MART 1767. DOCT. PROMOT. GOETTING D. 25 APR. 1789.
Reverse: A classic temple, in a frieze, PROCUL ESTE PROFANE; between the two pillars at right hang wreaths upon which WERLHOF - ZIMMERMANN - WICHMANN - LENTIN [double letters as single letter with overline, I’s are dotted]; in front Aesculapius with staff is hanging wreath between pillars on left, with STIEGLITZ name on it; in exergue, XXV APRIL / MDCCCXXXIX, in two lines.
