Bronze. Belgium 1932. Signed. Lifetime. Struck on the occasion of his silver anniversary at the Catholic University at Leuven.
Obverse: Nude head to right, with moustache; on truncation, ANT. JORISSEN; in a curve along edge from lower left, PROF ∙ DOCT ∙ MED ∙ RUFINUS ∙SCHOCKAERT (outward) and below, closing circle, MCMXXXII (inward).
Reverse: Clothed scholar, wearing hat, standing, with open book in right hand and bunch of flowers in left; by his feet is lying bull [possibly a reference to the papal bull of foundation from 1425], in front covering his feet, University of Leuven coat of arms (a hand from heaven handing a book); in a curve around, ∙ COLLEGAE ∙ MAGISTRO ∙ AMICO ∙ (outwards) and, below PERENNIS ∙ MEMORIAE ∙ TESTIMONIUM (inwards).
